The Office of the Principal Deputy Director, officially the Immediate Office of the Director (IMOD), led by ÈýÒÚÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Principal Deputy Director, manages the day-to-day operations for the Office of the Director.  IMOD responsibilities include central oversight on ÈýÒÚÌåÓý¹ÙÍø activities in research funding, management, administration, and information technology. IMOD coordinates a number of trans-ÈýÒÚÌåÓý¹ÙÍø efforts across the ÈýÒÚÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s 27 Institutes and Centers.
